The Charlotte Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax-deductible: EIN: 65-0455319.
Originally incorporated as and receiving IRS determination of tax-exempt (nonprofit) status in 1995 as the Charlotte County Foundation, the foundation articles of incorporation were amended in 2004 as the Charlotte Community Foundation.
CCF is classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Council on Foundations has determined that our organization is in full compliance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations. This accreditation can provide assurance to the public that CCF maintains the highest of standards in administration of our organization.
