To my donors,
I am immensely grateful for your donation. My name is Breanna Burdell and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Port Charlotte, FL by my grandmother. Ever since a young child, I have wanted nothing more than to work in the health field as an adult. Originally I intended to do nursing like my aunt and grandma, but after really thinking, I have decided radiology might be a great fit for me. I have struggled to find a major that suits me and one that I will enjoy for the remainder of my career but one thing is for sure and it’s that I love caring for people and helping them find answers. My goal is to become a radiologic technologist for now. I would love to get my foot in the door with this career and maybe someday go into sonography. Imaging interests me no matter what kind. I almost have a general AA degree, only 2 classes away, and I’d love to finally get into a specialty program in the health field.
Again, I am so grateful for this scholarship. I cannot find full-time work as I am still in school and finding work is relatively hard. This scholarship will help keep me on my feet, especially during the harder times coming with our economy. It will help me further my career immensely and I cannot even express my gratitude. I am excited to share my progress with you through the school year!
Thank you so much,
Breanna Burdell
